Privacy & Nondiscrimination Policy
Volunteering Age Restriction
All volunteers must be at least 14 years of age. Volunteers under 16 years old need to be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or caregiver. 16- and 17-year-olds can volunteer on their own with parental permission by bringing a signed waiver with them, which can be found on our Volunteer webpage.
Our Commitment to Privacy
Saturday Morning Breakfast (“SMB”) respects the privacy of our guests, volunteers, donors, and partners. We collect and use personal information only to operate our programs effectively, communicate with you, and meet regulatory requirements. We do not sell or share your personal information with outside organizations for marketing purposes. Any information you provide—such as contact details for volunteer sign-up, sponsorships, or donations—is stored securely and used only for the purpose for which it was collected, unless you expressly authorize otherwise or as required by law.
Use of Photographs and Media
Saturday Morning Breakfast occasionally takes photographs, videos, and audio recordings during events and volunteer activities to share our mission with the community through promotional materials, social media, newsletters, our website, brochures, and other public outreach.
By participating in SMB activities or events, you grant SMBinMac the irrevocable right and permission to use, reproduce, display, and distribute photographs, video recordings, and/or audio recordings of you taken during your participation. This includes the right to edit or modify the media as needed for promotional or educational purposes. SMB does not provide compensation for the use of images or recordings and will never sell or license your likeness to outside parties for unrelated purposes.
If you do not wish to appear in any photos or videos, you must notify an SMB coordinator in writing and identify yourself at the start of each event so that staff and photographers can accommodate your request. SMB will make reasonable efforts to honor opt-out requests.
