Volunteers are the heart of Saturday Morning Breakfast in Mac. We offer a variety of roles so everyone can find a meaningful way to serve.
Volunteering builds connection, hospitality, and service skills while making a real impact in your community. Opportunities are available for individuals and groups, whether you volunteer once or regularly.
We also celebrate our volunteers through monthly gift card drawings and an annual appreciation event in April.

Your donation helps feed the community every Saturday morning for all who need it. Every dollar supports fresh ingredients, kitchen supplies, operations, volunteer appreciation, and the sustainable care that keeps our program running.
Each week, more than 150 neighbors gather at Saturday Morning Breakfast in Mac for a warm meal, connection, and resources. With rising food costs, it takes about $500 each week to continue serving our community.
Your support helps ensure no one in McMinnville starts their weekend hungry.

We especially encourage current and former volunteers, donors, sponsors, and supporters who are familiar with our work to apply. However, we welcome interest from anyone who shares our commitment to serving others and building a more resilient community.
Board service offers a meaningful opportunity to shape the future of SMB, support strategic growth, and ensure we can continue nourishing our community for years to come. All board candidates participate in an interview process and are elected by board vote.

We post a donated item on Facebook. You place your bids. Together, we help feed McMinnville.
Once a month, we feature a donated item or package in a 72-hour Facebook auction. Community members bid by commenting on the post, and the highest bidder wins. All proceeds support Saturday Morning Breakfast's mission of providing hot, nutritious breakfasts and meaningful connection to neighbors experiencing food insecurity in McMinnville.
We're always looking for donated auction items from individuals, families, businesses, and community partners. Gift baskets, gift certificates, event packages, handmade goods, and unique local items are all welcome!
